AIBE 2017 : All India Bar Examination Notification,Application form,Exam Date
All India Bar Examination intended to test an advocate’s ability to practice the professional of Law in India. The AIBE will assess skills at a basic level and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law. It addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law. Certificate of Practice will be awarded by the Bar Council of India to the candidate after passing this examination.
The All India Bar Examination shall be mandatory for all law students graduating from the academic year 2017-2018 on wards. Candidates may apply to appear for the All India Bar Examination only after enrolling as an advocate under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961 and will have to submit suitable proof of such enrollment along with the application form for the All India Bar Examination.
The AIBE 2017 Exam will be conducted all over the country. Applicants can choose their examination center of their convenience. The All India Bar Examination will be conducted in nine languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya and English and the preparatory materials provided to each advocate will be in the language in which they choose to appear for the All India Bar Examination.
AIBE 2017 Eligibility Criteria :-
Applicants who are interested need to satisfy the following criteria on before hand
- Candidate must pass LLB &
- Candidate must be enrolled with any State Bar Council and submit the proof of the enrollment along with the application form for the All India Bar Examination
AIBE 2017 Application Form Procedure :-
Candidates can apply for the AIBE IX 2017 on online mode only.
Applicants first need to register themselves before applying online.To registrar, visit AIBE Website www.allindiabarexamination.com/registration.aspx. After successful AIBE Registration you can login to your account
After completion of registration you will receive the OTP on the mobile number which you used while registration.
Fill up your Personal, Educational and other Information on this link then click Finish Button
Registration Number and Password of your Account is generated and will be sent back to your e-mail ID
Now click ‘Login button on AIBE Site and enter your Registration Number and Password. Then get printout of your Challan Copy
Deposit Fee only on the said printed challan at any branch of SBI after 24 hrs. of registration.
Once the application form is filled send it to “All India Bar Examination” Bar Council of India, 21 Rouse Avenue Institutional Area, ITO, Near Bal Bhawan New Delhi-110002.
AIBE 2017 Application Fees :-
Candidates who are applying for the first time and repeated candidates also need to pay 2500+60 Bank charges as their application fee.

AIBE 2017 Exam Pattern :-
Candidates will be answering questions from twenty subjects. The subjects are taken from the syllabi prescribed by the Bar Council of India for the three-year five-year L.L.B. programs at law schools in India. The subjects are divided into two categories.
The Examination paper will contain at least 7 questions from each ‘Category I’ subject. The paper will also have 23 questions from the ‘Category II’ subjects as a whole. These twenty-three questions will include questions from at least 5 Category II subjects. Category I subjects will be tested in Part I of the question paper and Category II subjects will be tested in Part II of the question paper.
