Students who completed their 10th standard or class will be in confusion state. The roots of one’s career starts after their 10th. Career After 10th depends on the decision taken by the students and their parents. Now a days,literacy rate is increasing day by day. This shows that people are changing and getting awareness of education. As the days pass there is speedy growth in the innovation with technology.
Career After 10th
So students who completed their 10th class should have clear focus on their goal. As it is turning point in students life they should think and take decision about their further studies, Students have many opportunities after SSC. Huge opportunities are available for the students who completed their Matriculation can opt for ITI course,Diploma or for HSC i,e for Higher Secondary Course. Students are advised and should keep one thing in mind that their decision should be on their own,they should not decide their career coming under their parent’s pressure. Students should choose their Career After 10th class in their own interest field. One cannot be dragged and become successful in un interested field. One wrong decision can ruin your whole career. So, Parents also advised to respect their children decision and encourage them to become successful in their career.
To obtain a strong foundation for further studies like graduation and post graduation, a good option after 10th is studying +2 or PUC. The selection of the streams in +2 depends upon the students aptitude, grade and marks. But the most important factor is one’s keen interest in the subject and the purpose for selecting the course.
Courses After 10th :
Students who want to go for Medical or Engineering field has to choose this stream as it mainly consist of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology. Candidates who are willing to brighten their career by pursuing B.Tech or Engineering field then they has to choose Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects popularly known as PCM. And for those who want to go in Medical field has to choose Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects popularly known as PCB.
Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs):
Institute gives various types of technical training & make aspirant capable. Government runs this it is & ITCs are under private organization. ITI provides training in various technical courses such as plumber, electrician, turner etc. its course duration varies depending upon candidate which they have opt for. Minimum duration of course is one year & maximum is 3 years so it differs from course to course. Once aspirant has completed this course they can apply for various recruitment notification published by government sectors such as Railways, telecom departments etc.
Students can opt for this type of course if they are not interested in further studies & want to directly jump into practical technical course. Because after completing this course they will be eligible to apply for various govt. job openings. National Trade Certificate will be provided by National Council for Vocational Training in their concerned trade & to obtain this they has to qualify All India Trade Test (ATT). So, this is also one of good choice if student is not interested to study.
HSC or Intermediate or PUC:
This is an Higher Secondary Course which is said to be 10+2 education course. It is an two year course said to be 11th& 12th Standard. Among both these 12th standard is very crucial because marks of that class will reflect on admission process in colleges. HSC course is also divided into three streams i.e. Science, Commerce & Arts or Humanities. Detailed information about these three stream is provided below so kindly have a look at it.
Many of them find Science stream too much difficult because it needs hard work in order to score good marks & to get admission in well recognized university. So, those who are having interest in finance, Management, Accounting can go for this stream. Those students who opts this stream can make their career by pursuing BBA, B.com, CA (Chartered Accountant), Law, Bachelor of Economics, Event Management Course, Hotel Management etc. as lots of opportunities are there in this field too.
Arts or Humanities:
Candidates who find Science & Commerce very tough stream then they can choose this as it contains very interesting subjects. They get subjects such as History, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology etc. To opt for this field one has to be creative as well as it needs lots of hard work. Depending upon your interest can select language or literature subjects & can move ahead with their studies. Graduation degree such as BA, FA, Journalism, Mass communication etc. can pursue.
Some other Career After 10th :
Indian Army : After matriculation, one can join in Indian Army to the posts of soldiers in technical trade through written exams like Indian Army Soldier Clerks Examination, Indian Army Soldier General Duty (N.E.R.) Examination, Indian Army Soldier Technical (M.E.R.) Examination, Indian Army Soldier Nursing Assistants (M.E.R.) Examination etc.
Indian Navy : Job opportunities are available in Indian Navy as Dock Yard Apprentices, Sailors, Artificer Apprentices, etc. on the basis of written examination.
Police Force : On the basis of physical test and written test, one can join as constable (tradesmen) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts clerks grade examination for those who passed matriculation. For those who interested in teaching field can undergo training in diploma course for nursery and primary teachers conducted by the departments of primary education in various States. Students can join for 3 year engineering diploma courses in polytechnics. Several job oriented short term courses are available in IT sector and other fields like web designing, animation, fashion designing etc. Apart these, there are so many options, specially self employment opportunities are available for the school leavers depending upon their expertise.
